We are so excited to host one of our favorite singer-songwriters right here in frisco!
Spencer has been a huge part of many of our deconstruction journeys with their indie folk vibe that speaks to so many who are queer, deconstructing, or hurt by the church and struggling with faith. You don’t want to miss this raw, emotional experience of haunting melodies and delicately woven lyrics. Check them out!
Spencer LaJoye (luh-JOY) is an East Coast singer/songwriter from the Midwest making queer indie folk music for everyone. The 2021 Kerrville Songwriting Competition winner spins crystalline vocals through a loop pedal while strumming an acoustic guitar in charming, banter-heavy performances that keep audiences laughing one moment and weeping the next.

Join us for our last Spring WANDER- our coffee shop worship experience- as we dream big about what we can become. We don't have to do it on our own though! Senior Leadership Development Strategist, podcaster, and super woman Mary Baird of The Simplifiers will be leading us through a process of visioning for the future of The Prodigals in 2024-2025!
It is up to YOU what our community becomes and where we decide to put our energy as we move forward into the future, so don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to dream BIG DREAMS and join in on the fun of community co-creation!
